Please read the following Terms and Conditions. You may print a copy for your records.

By checking the "I Agree to the Terms and Conditions" box on the payment submission page, you are authorizing Merit Life Insurance Co. ("Merit") to transfer money from, or debit, your financial institution account to apply to your policy with Merit. You are agreeing to execute this transaction electronically. In the event a payment cannot be made electronically, you authorize Merit, at its sole discretion, to execute a check or other draft against your account to facilitate the transfer.

All information in the forms required by this service must be provided by the owner of the policy.

Your financial institution must provide you with disclosures which explain your rights and obligations when making electronic transfers. You should review these disclosures. You should also review your financial institutions account statement to verify the date and amount of any transfers initiated by Merit. If you have questions, you should contact your financial institution.

You are responsible for having sufficient funds in the account you selected on the scheduled payment date. You may be charged a fee by Merit under the terms of your agreement with us if Merit's debit or transfer is rejected due to insufficient funds in the account you selected for any reason. (Merit, at its discretion, may attempt to re-submit the transfer to your financial institution.) Your financial institution may also assess fees against you for having insufficient funds for any transfer attempted.

Payments authorized by you will be posted to your policy within one business day of the withdrawal date.

If you authorize a premium payment through this online service, and select a future withdraw date, the payment is classified as a pending payment. To cancel a pending payment, contact Merit Life Insurance Co. Customer Service at 1-800-307-0048, no later than one business day prior to your selected payment withdraw date.
